This was the most amazing hotel I think I've ever stayed in. The reception is so welcoming, even given drinks on your arrival while you check in. The staff were so helpful and the room was always cleaned to perfection. The room itself was so spacious with a lovely view of the mountain. The amenities were fantastic, 3 restaurants in the hotel as well as the all inclusive buffet restaurant, mini golf on site and a roof top bar where you can go and watch some beautiful sunsets. I can't recommend this hotel enough I will definitely be back!!!!

What a great experience!! From the moment we arrived we were welcomed with drinks. The reception was always friendly and ready to help you. The rooms and the hotel itself were taken care of down to the last detail. This was a holiday to remember. Definitely recommended!!
If we go to Rhodes again I already know which hotel it will be

Such an amazing place. All the staff were lovely, nothing was too much trouble. The adults only room we had was just amazing, and when we arrived it was all set up for us to enjoy our honeymoon. The lounge bar was our personal favourite out of all the bars in the hotel, and Paulina was really friendly, accommodating and AMAZING at making cocktails! The spa was lovely and the treatments we had were very enjoyable. There was always a variety of food in the restaurants and was very tasty! I would happily return to the Olympic Palace, I never wanted to leave!

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the experience my family and I had during our recent stay at your hotel. We chose your hotel based on its advertised amenities and family-friendly environment, but unfortunately, our experience did not meet these expectations.
Firstly, there were no adequate activities for children. The pool was cold and basic, and there was no evening entertainment specifically for kids—just outdated bands that did not appeal to them. Throughout the day, there were no engaging activities or programs for children, which was very disappointing.
Additionally, I was taken aback by the numerous additional charges for basic amenities. The fact that drinks were charged at dinner and the staff’s attitude when we opted not to purchase any was particularly off-putting. This practice seems exploitative and not in line with providing a hospitable environment.
The gym facilities were inadequate, with an ultra-tiny space and a sauna that did not work once during our stay. When we inquired, we were informed about another sauna in the spa, but this came with an additional 20-euro charge. These issues significantly impacted our ability to enjoy our stay.
Overall, I feel that the hotel is more focused on extracting as much money as possible from guests rather than providing a family-friendly and enjoyable experience. This is particularly concerning as your hotel is marketed as a family destination.

“It is what it is”
The hotel is well located: not far from Rhodes Town and not far from the airport.
In general, this is a very nice hotel where there is constant cleaning. The hotel has 3 swimming pools. There are a few shops, a spa, in the evening there are shows, car hearing, the possibility to book excursions, mini-golf, etc... Anyway, there's something for everyone.
And very important: everyone is super friendly.
Rooms
We had a room type 24. This is a room at the front. Every day there are fresh sheets and towels (small, large and for pool or beach). The room is nice and sufficiently large, there is a sitting area and a terrace with sea view. The bed is rather on the narrow side.
As far as I'm concerned, there is one big drawback: the air conditioning comes from a joint system and does not provide sufficient cooling.
We arrived in the evening, when it was 27°C in the room. After a few hours it was still 26°C. Of course, the whole room and all the objects in it are warmed up, and it takes a long time for them to cool down. So it was really way too hot to get a good night's sleep. According to the reception, the air conditioning is set to 24°C. You can't go any lower, despite the fact that there are lower temperatures on the control button. "It is what it is", was the decision. And indeed, the girl was absolutely right, but I did let her know that this would be the title of my review.
The next day, after a bad, sweaty night in this sauna, we were at 25°C. I then contacted the management. They have done their very best to deal with this problem. A maintenance technician was sent over, and we were given an extra air blower. Possibly we could also get another room, and they would move us themselves. We didn't do this. The solution was to ask for an extra card and put it in the room lock, so that the air conditioning continued to run day and night. In the end we ended up with a 24°C, even up to 23.5C once. And that was doable. It is better to set such an air conditioner much lower, so that you reach the desired temperature and cooling faster. Now this is taking far too long. The management is doing its very best, but they are also faced with accomplished facts, because one cannot technically go lower than 24°C at the moment. In another room, the problem would have been the same. It is incomprehensible how such a beautiful hotel can have such a miserable air conditioning. To save money, I think this is a bad idea, because now our air conditioning has been running day and night.
Meals
We had half-board.
I read in reviews here and there something about the waiting at the dining room.
Indeed, sometimes you have to wait a bit until you are assigned a place. But that wait is certainly not excessively long. Yet it was not our concern.
Everyone here is very friendly and busy.
The breakfast is very, very extensive. The only improvement could be that one would bake a fresh pancake or waffle on the spot. Instead of making them available in hot plates.
The dinner is also very extensive. The same remark as with breakfast: preparing some on the spot here and there could be an improvement. I also missed some more fish. At the end of the day, we're on an island for something.
