Le Méridien Al Aqah consistently stands out as our favourite hotel after experiencing many others in Fujairah and the UAE for staycations. We've always had wonderful experiences here, and while the amenities are great, the hotel's biggest strength truly lies in its people.
While we'd love to recognize some exceptional staff members at Le Méridien, praising just a few wouldn't do justice to the entire team. They consistently delivered exceptional customer service every step of the way. Consistently demonstrating a strong understanding of both service protocols and their customers, the staff excelled in attentiveness, responsiveness, and approachability. Their personal approach and genuine care always made us feel comfortable and welcome, greatly contributing to the elevation of our experience.
Last year, during our stay, we encountered a minor billing error at one of the restaurants. The restaurant staff was understandably swamped due to a full house, so we decided not to bring it to their attention. However, the following morning, a manager surprised us at breakfast to personally address the issue. We were particularly impressed by two things: firstly, we were unsure how they identified us, and secondly, their proactive approach to rectify the situation exceeded our expectations. It's a testament to the hotel's exceptional attention to detail that continues to resonate with us even today.
It's clear that Le Méridien's management team is outstanding as well. The staff's evident enjoyment in their work speaks volumes about the positive work environment they must have (at least this is our personal assumption).
In addition to the exceptional staff, several features of Le Méridien Al Aqah itself solidify its position as our preferred hotel within its price range. These include spacious rooms, all with stunning sea views and excellent internet speeds, ensuring a strong and reliable connection even while lounging by the pool or beach. Finally, the diverse selection of restaurants (guarantees culinary satisfaction for a variety of palates) and hotel's entertainment.
Hotel's offerings extend far beyond comfortable accommodations, making it a haven for families with children. The main swimming pool, open until 8:00 pm (exceeding neighbouring hotels like Miramar's 7:00 pm closing time), offers ample space for a refreshing swim. Even during peak occupancy, it will not feel crowded.
Beyond the pool, Le Méridien caters to a diverse range of guests. Solo travelers, couples, and families alike will find something to keep them entertained. Daily activities, games, a mini zoo featuring parrots (we love it), a dedicated kids' club with its own pool, and water sports options ensure there's never a boring moment.
Overall, Le Méridien is an ideal choice for travelers of all ages and interests. From daily entertainment and water sports to spacious rooms and a variety of restaurants, the hotel offers something for everyone.

Not enough of resort facilities and a bit old looking hotel but the breakfast was very good and the staff was as nice as all the hotel minuses gone blurry))
We took the fishing trip for which they gave us good discount. It was super fun trip! After that (for additional cost) the chef from Sapore restaurant cooked for us our catch and it was delicious 🤤

We had amazing 10 days here! Beautiful and clean territory, tidy and comfortable rooms, friendly staff, and delicious food! Animation programs were fun and not annoying - we loved aqua gym, stretching, and the fireshow! Special thanks to all cooks and staff at Views Brasserie - the breakfasts and dinners were fantastic! Overall, it's a perfect place to stay for a vacation!

Short stay during Eid Holidays !
We had never visited a Beach hotel in Fujairah, so we thought of giving a try.
We had booked for 2 nights including breakfast. There was no delay in check-in. We would like to appreciate Mr. Hosny who welcomed us with a smile.
While the room was getting ready, we tried the special Buffet lunch at Views Restaurant. It was just ok for the price, maybe because our expectations were a bit high.
We liked the sea facing room which was very spacious. Even toilets were spacious with separate areas for tub and bath.
They have several activities for kids in a corner. A small area for badminton, table tennis etc.
We had dinner in our room as we couldn't get a seat in two of their main restaurants till 9:30 pm.
Breakfast buffet was nice and was predominantly an English breakfast.
We couldn't spend much time in the beach as the sea water was a bit unclean at that time.
We had the lunch on the second day from Gonu Restaurant. The grills we ordered were really nice.
Even though the main course items in the menu of Gonu, Sopore and Thai were limited, whatever we ordered from all three restaurants were prepared very well. Appreciate the chefs.
Breakfast buffet was almost the same on the second day as well.
Check-out was smooth.
We would like to appreciate Mr. Raj, Mr. Chami and Ms. Jeanette in the Views Restaurant.
The chef Mr. Murshid was very kind enough to personally come to us and ask if everything was fine.
We do appreciate the room service team including Mr. Amal who brought the food within an hour and temperature of the food was still perfect.
Staff at the pool bar were really nice.
Things we disliked in the hotel:
• Reservations for table in main Restaurants. Guests with kids may find it difficult if they don’t get a table that too after spending this amount.
• Overcrowded swimming pool. Better if Swimming pool etiquettes are displayed near the pool.
• People simply keep the towel on the sun lounger in the morning and take it in the evening and claim it to be reserved for the whole day, which is really bad. They are supposed to allow other guests to use the sun lounger when they are not using the pool at that time. Unfortunately, the staff are unable to handle this issue. We really appreciate Mr. Pratap near the pool who was kind enough to get us a sun lounger.
• Pool bar is for everyone and not just for a few people who just sit there with a drink for a very long time. It’s always nice to give the seat to another guest who has spent a similar amount to enjoy the amenities.
• Sleep was not that comfortable, maybe because of the mattress.
• Lifts could be a bit faster.
• Wish they had a covered restaurant near the beach (Gonu) as it was tough to handle houseflies.
• TV with streaming apps would have been better these days.
Suggestions:
Short visits during off peak time would be better if you are planning to visit with kids so that you could use the amenities well.
Thanks.
