The facility is truly a dream, and the food is excellent as well. We opted for full board, which means only one drink is included with breakfast and lunch. The on-site prices are outrageous: €9 for a scoop of ice cream, €7 for a cappuccino, and €14 for a non-alcoholic smoothie. There's no beach bag in the room, which I've come to expect from good star hotels. There are also no small cotton pads or nail files in the bathroom, which are minor inconveniences. We vacationed with our young child, expecting to use the games room mentioned on the website and brought little toys accordingly. Unfortunately, we can't use them on-site because we'd have to leave our kids at the daycare center and can't stay with them. The "public" area for kids is in direct sunlight with no shade whatsoever. Surprisingly, there are a lot of people with small children here, which even surprised us, as the hotel isn't very family-friendly equipped. For example, we brought our stroller and have to climb numerous stairs to get to the room. The beach is only accessible via numerous steps as well. If we were a couple vacationing without kids, we would be very disappointed because there's hardly any peace due to numerous kids running around everywhere. Since there are quite a few Germans at the hotel, it might be a good idea to offer dining cards with descriptions in German, as while we speak good English, we're not familiar with food-specific terms.

We arrived at the hotel for five days, we bought a full board plan, the hotel is amazing in its beauty, the service is lovely, especially Nikos the manager, the food is excellent! The hotel is very clean, the pools are beautiful, the towels are clean. But I make a note that it cost us a lot of money. When we arrived, no one explained how the accommodation works. Unfortunately we had to ask every time and it ended up costing us a lot of money, hundreds of euros besides the high hotel costs. The program they sell is not explained and you only find out at the end that they charged you more money and that many other things are not included. I recommend the hotel to change the policy and be open with the customers, many staff members shared that this is the regular complaint of the customers. Hope things will be better next time.

For such an expensive hotel I expected more. Before booking I checked to ensure the hotel could meet some specific dietary needs. I was assured it was no problem and went ahead and booked. This was nothing complicated, a vegetarian who does not eat eggs, garlic or onions. When we arrived, no chefs came to speak to us about the dietary needs and what they can plan. Instead we were told to go to any restaurant they will all be able to accommodate us. Turns out that was not the case and we just got told by staff our requirements were impossible!! When we spoke to a manager in reception he asked, but then what do you eat. Says it all!! He gave a 100 euro spa voucher and felt that was enough, despite my mum not eating lunch and dinner for 2 days!! Btw we only had time to use the voucher the morning we were leaving, not that we wanted to use it. The manager pushed us hard to use it and forced a booking on to us. The spa treatments are ridiculously expensive so the only thing it covered was a 30min express facial!!! This was beyond insulting. Service is incredibly slow at time. We pre-ordered lunch for a 2 year old toddler 2.5hrs in advance. The restaurant confirmed it was fine and when we turned up with a very hungry toddler who was crying because he was hungry we were told after an additional 1hr of waiting we are busy you have to wait!! Fuming was not the word! General vegetarian food options weren't great and if you tried to customise by adding veggies it wasn't allowed. So being a vegetarian doesn't work for this hotel. Tea and coffee came very luke warm. We had to ask them to make it steaming hot, and often tea came with no milk, so you're waiting 10-15 mins for your order to arrive luke warm then wait 5-10mins more for milk to arrive. Rooms had no bathroom doors so when sharing a room with a non-partner it required some management. The wooden entrance to our room did not lock so if we forgot to lock the porch or main door someone can gain entry easily into the room. Location wise you are far from tourist sites and no tour operators we contacted could come to pick us up, instead we had to meet at a specified location. So if you are happy to eat (as long as you dont have dietary needs) and stay at the hotel during your whole stay then it will work, if not, plan to spend more money getting taxi's or hiring a car. They have 1 outside lift (funicular) to take you to all floors. One. We often had to wait quite some time for the lift and this wasn't even their busiest time so I can imagine how much of a headache that can become later in the season. There are better hotels, better located, with much better service on the island. Go there. I wouldn't book here again.

Amazing hotel, five stars well deserved in every aspect. Five star facilities, five star scenery ; five star food and beverages with delicious local products ; five star facilities including for adults, babies and kids ; and five star service with adorable and smiling staff ❤️

Having just come back from a week holiday at Daios Cove we could not find a fault. We loved every second of it spent there! The staff are amazing and the place is really one to make you feel superbly treated and relaxed. The creche staff are sensational and so is their babysitter services. Food is incredible! Pool and beach are beautifully kept and service on both is impeccable. We will be back next year!
