Had an amazing experience at The Tubkaak, my only regret is not staying longer. Staff were extremely friendly, welcoming and accommodating from the second we walked in, till the second we left. Did everything they can to make the stay memorable. Room we stayed in was a little outdated and could do with some modernization, appreciate it's a quite an old hotel so there's elements which are quite outdated. But the service and location seem to make up for it. Thai restaurant was fantastic, wide selection of options at reasonable prices. Food was absolutely delicious. Service from the staff was 5*. Sitting on the bean bags on the beach outside the restaurant is just wonderful. The manager of the hotel made the effort to greet all guests at breakfast and enquire how their stay was and ask for feedback, which I thought was an absolutely fantastic touch and something all hotel managers should do. He was very friendly, respectful, listened to our feedback and we instantly saw it implemented. Would highly recommend!!!

One of those most beautiful hotels I’ve ever stayed in. On one side of the resort you have a tropical forest and cliffs and the other a white sandy beach straight out of a postcard. Staff were all extremely professional and welcoming. Non, especially, was great during the check in process. He helped arrange transfers to other restaurants also. This is something to bear in mind - the hotel is in a quieter area of Krabi and to get around you need either taxis or a moped. Breakfast was delicious and the restaurant was situated right on the beach so you would have the most gorgeous view to start your day.

This was the best resort that me and my husband have been to and we were truly so sad to leave. The location is beautiful. Beach is clean, quiet, and arranged with multiple lounge options. The resort aesthetic is absolutely beautiful. Our suite was comfortable, modern, and had many amazing features (outdoor shower and bath, private pool, huge bathroom, smart TV, reliable wifi). The resort management is nothing short of excellent. Our flight got pushed back several hours, which meant we got in at 10pm. They had the foresight to ask if we needed to preorder any food prior to the kitchen closing and had someone waiting for us to make check in as smooth as possible. We appreciated that immensely after such a long day of travel. All staff are kind, courteous, and accommodating, from our waitstaff to the cleaning staff to the gardeners. You're always greeted with a smile. Both restaurants had excellent food and drink. Breakfast is amazing and something we looked forward to everyday. The spa was a wonderful experience with a unique atmosphere (check out pics of the cocooned treatment rooms), quality services, and wonderfully kind staff. High value and high quality resort that gave us an experience we will never forget. We hope to return someday!

This was a great beginning to our honeymoon. The perfect balance of chilled and relaxed, mixed with free muay thai sessions, free guided hike and free bicycles to use. We walked down the beach and ate at a local restaurant some nights. The breakfast at Tubkaak was amazing, I couldn't fault it. Being surrounded by swimming koi carp and attentive staff. Nothing was too much for the staff and the place was very clean and well looked after. My only criticism, which can't really be helped, is the amount of jelly fish. There is alot of jelly fish on the beach and in the sea, which did kind of put us off going in. Other then this, the place was amazing and we didn't want to leave.

This hotel refuses to refund a fully-refundable reservation!! We booked a long stay for a few families at this hotel. The reservation was made directly on the hotel web site, with clear free-cancellation terms until a few weeks before our stay. We even discussed the free-cancellation date via email with the hotel, and received written confirmation that until a specific date - we can cancel and get a FULL refund. Unfortunately our plans changed and we had to cancel our stay. Both before and after we informed the hotel of the cancellation - we got emails saying clearly that we will get a full refund within 30-45 days (they even informed us in writing that they managed to rent our rooms to other guests). Unfortunately, what followed was 3 months of terrible customer service. The hotel ignored most of our emails, and when we did get a response - it was a generic response of “your refund request is being processed”. After 3 months of waiting, we suddenly got an email saying that since we cancelled late (we did not!), and since they were unable to rent our room to other guests (wrong again!) - they will deduct 15% from our refund. They even dare to claim that we agreed to the reduced refund - which of course we never did. With horrible, unresponsive customer support and many hundreds of dollars that the hotel refuses to refund us with, I would never recommend this hotel.
