My husband and I stayed here from April 14 - April 24 2024, we had a wonderful stay.
We were in room 222 we had a beautiful view from our balcony.
The room was quite spacious, the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was quite large and the balcony was very spacious as well.
The only downsides to the room were, it would have been nice to have a drying rack on the balcony for wet bathing suits and towels, an umbrella would have been useful and have the fridge stocked with some beer, water, pop and juice.
The main pool is huge and very clean and never crowded.
The pool down at reggae beach was very nice but the ocean at that beach not so much, I don't like weeds.
The other beach was very nice you never had to fight for a spot.
Towels were always hard to come by.
The food for the most part was pretty good, we didn't have to fight for reservations.
The bar down at the main pool was pretty good you never had to wait long, it would be nice to have a swim up bar😉.
We spent most of our nights in the Wicket Pub talking to David, he's an amazing person and bartender, he makes an excellent gin martini.
If you enjoy microbrew like my husband and I do they brew their own beer for the resort and it was delicious.
I know I'm forgetting some details but I think I have provided enough.

4 girl trip turned into an international group. Excellent time. Staff, especially Theodore and Leon, are knowledgeable and pleasant. Food eclectic and tasty. Room situated beautifully, spacious and deck view nice.

I really loved this resort. Friendly staff. Clean and tidy surroundings. Lovely beaches, especially 'Lovers Beach'. Good variety of food. Gave 3 stars for service because of low staff numbers at times. Overall, a great holiday. Highly recommended.

Antigua 🇦🇬 is simply beautiful. The Verandah just reopened in November, and it shows. No room service, buffet items were cold, coffee was cold. Food was not the best at the open areas that needed no reservation. Pool towels you had to show up early for or keep one for use of the stay. The room was cleaned every other day, and my floors were not mopped or swept. There is no beverage service in the room, just two bottles of water. The on-site restrooms were very cleaned. Staff was very attentive and kind. My exception was not met at this property, but I will return to visit other places.

Jewel in the rough. Resort is very beautiful with well maintained grounds. Room fridges are not stocked. Door handle to closet was broken. Safe used lock and key, so one extra thing to carry around. Taps not securely fixed to sink. Hot water ran out quickly. Rooms cleaned every 2 days but we were fine with that. A la cartes were just ok and service not so great there. We cancelled our remaining reservations.Service and coffee was excellent at coffee shop but they need 2 servers during peak morning rush. Surprised that buffet was not open at lunch. Beaches are quite small but the water is calm and amazing at the water sports beach. There is very loud construction going on at adjacent property, though. Still, despite these issues, we enjoyed our stay, but would probably try another locale were we to return to Antigua.
