This place is truly paradise. We love it here. Amazing place for vacation. Everything was really perfect. Beautiful accommodation in a water villa with jacuzzi. I want to thank our butler Ibrahim Aleff very much. He was a very pleasant and helpful person. He helped me with every wish, told us lots of interesting facts about local life. I believe we have formed a friendship and I am already looking forward to the next stay we are planning as we definitely want to come back. It is the best accommodation in my life and I have traveled to more than 40 countries in the world.

We thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to this resort - everything was great. Our butler, Shahu, was extremely attentive to all our needs. He was friendly, sociable and good fun.
As a vegetarian the food was really good with all staff, in all restaurants, very attentive to my food needs - and the quality of the food was excellent. The inclusive breakfast was very comprehensive, with much choice.
The room was very good with personal swimming pool and day bed right next to the beach. The bathroom was half inside and half outside in a private, walled garden with a shaded day bed - delicious. And the quiet beach was just through the bushes - excellent for snorkling and swimming, as it was all round the island.
Although there were many people about our room was suitably very quiet and hidden.

This place is truly a dream come true! We visited as a family of 5 (kids ages 3, 6, 9) and it was the most spectacular vacation I've ever had - fun, full of memorable experiences, and even relaxing (yes, it's possible!).
The staff at Iru Fushi is professional, friendly, helpful, and genuinely looks happy to be there. We interacted with so many people during our stay and every interaction was pleasant and left me smiling wherever I went.
ARRIVAL - We landed at Malé in the morning and were met by Iru Fushi reps who quickly got us and our luggage to the seaplane check-in and us to Iru Fushi's seaplane lounge (my kids loved the play area and there were plenty of snacks and drinks; fab views of the seaplanes landing and taking off). The seaplane ride was incredibly gorgeous and took about 45 minutes. Fayaz greeted us on arrival and took us on a quick tour of the island and then to our beach villa. I loved not having to go to reception to check in.
FAYAZ AND NAVEEN - Our butlers, who were assigned to us for our stay. Two professionals - so amazing at what they do. They were always there when we needed them - and out of sight when we didn't. Having working in the tourism industry for over two decades, I know that's not easy. Nothing was a problem for them, and they did everything they could to make our stay seemless and wonderful. Thank you Fayaz and Naveen - we miss you!
ROOM - We stayed in a family beach villa with pool. Perfect size and amenities. Main bedroom had our bed and there were three beds in the second living area. My boys were comfortable. It didn't leave much room in the living area but that wasn't a problem as we were always in the water, sand, or out exploring. I loved the outdoor bathroom and pool area. Shareef and Showrab (and a third gentleman at the end of our stay, didn't catch his name) kept our room spotless. Our boys loved the pool and we also spent a lot of time in the cabana overlooking the beach. What an amazing view.
KIDS ACTIVITIES - So much to do here! It's perfect for families! The kids club is well-run by Diva and her caring crew. My 3-year-old loved his time there and always left smiling. My older two loved playing beach soccer, hanging out in the rec center, and exploring the island on their own. As a family we went on the sunset dolphin cruise (magical) and I went on the snorkeling safari with my 9-year-old (core memories made for both of us). We wanted to do the local island visit but sadly we saved it til the end and it got rained out. We also kayaked and my boys and husband did the tube ride in the lagoon. We spent most of the day at the beach, swimming in the gorgeous turquoise water, and we loved all of the marine life swimming around us - especially the baby black tip sharks. Boys also loved all of the hermit crabs and beautiful shells.
BEACH / WATER - Gorgeous, all the way around the island. I walked it each morning (25-30 min total) and had to stop bringing my camera because I was taking too many photos. It's just so beautiful. We were in villa 294 and if (when!) we come back I'd love to stay in the same villa. Nice shallow and calm water.
DINING - So nice to have a selection of restaurants. We liked trying the a la carte restaurants but preferred the Iru buffet for the delicious food, amazing selection, and ease of mealtime there with kids. There's also a kids play area attached that was sadly closed for our visit, but the fabulous restaurant staff kept my kids entertained! Thanks to Abu for making the most amazing pancakes for my Spiderman-obsessed son and for Abin for being like family. And everyone else for the amazing food, service and kindness!
CONCLUSION - Sun Siyam Iru Fushi is a magical place. There are so many choices in the Maldives... with beautiful beaches and nice accommodations. The people are what ultimately make the difference, and everyone we encountered at Iru Fushi made our vacation a dream.

We recently returned from a 7-night stay at Sun Siyam Iru Fushi, and we had an absolutely wonderful time. The resort was beautiful, the service was excellent, and the food was delicious.
Our water villa was spacious and comfortable, with stunning views of the Indian Ocean. The views of the ocean were incredible, and we loved being able to wake up to the sound of the waves. Our butler, Farhaan, was incredibly attentive and always went above and beyond to make our stay special. He was always one step ahead, making reservations for restaurants and activities.
The staff at the resort were all very friendly and welcoming. On our last night, they made a special effort to make us feel appreciated. There were always small gifts in our room, and they even made hand-towel animals for our children. , The staff always remembered our names.
In addition to the beautiful accommodations and excellent service, we were also impressed by the natural beauty of the Maldives. The water was crystal clear, and the coral reefs were teeming with life. We saw a variety of marine animals, including friendly small sharks, dolphins, rays, fish, crabs, fruit eating bats and turtles.
Our children were particularly excited to see the sharks. They were so small and gentle, and they swam around the beach. We also saw dolphins swimming in the distance, and we even got to see a turtle.
We were so grateful for the opportunity to experience the natural beauty of the Maldives. It was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
We had a truly unforgettable vacation at Sun Siyam Iru Fushi. The accommodations were luxurious, the service was excellent, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. We would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a perfect Maldives vacation.

We had the most incredible experience at the Sun Siyam Irufushi Resort in Nov. From the moment we arrived, everything was seamless. The transfer from the international terminal to the sea plane terminal was smooth, setting the tone for an amazing stay.
Speaking of the sea plane, it was an absolute highlight. Gliding above the islands and taking in the breathtaking views was simply magical. The sheer beauty of the surroundings left me in awe.
Our accommodations were top-notch. We stayed in both the Beach Pool Villa and the Water Villa, and both were spacious, impeccably maintained, and offered stunning views. Even a brief rain shower couldn't diminish the beauty of the place.
The All-Inclusive package was worth every penny. The variety and quality of food at Iru, Fluid, Trio, and Taste of India were exceptional. I couldn't get enough of the delicious meals.
One of the most memorable parts of the stay was the incredible marine life. Walking to the water villa, we spotted countless fish, including the enchanting Unicorn fish. Seeing Sharks near the excursion jetty and catching a glimpse of a Sting Ray on our last day made the experience even more surreal. And snorkeling at Nimo park was absolutely breathtaking.
But what truly set this experience apart was the staff. Every single person went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Our butler Naveen was a gem, fulfilling every request with grace. Vivek ensured our food requirements were met flawlessly. And at Fluid, Harendar, Seema, and Mia made us feel incredibly welcome. The guidance from supervisors Naufal and Faruhan to witness the Sharks and the warmth from Christopher and Diva towards the kids made our stay unforgettable.
Overall, the Sun Siyam Irufushi Resort surpassed all expectations. From the seamless logistics to the luxurious accommodations, delectable food, incredible marine encounters, and impeccable hospitality, this stay was nothing short of perfection. Highly recommended for an unforgettable Maldivian getaway.
