We took a "family" vacation and we ALL were so happy with Sandals Royal Bahamian! From the moment we entered this resort everyone was wonderful !!! The rooms were perfect and ALL the staff were so helpful and always there for us. Many different places to eat and all the ones we tried were great. The pools and the ocean were perfect. This resort was so CLEAN and once again everyone was there to help us with any questions. My son said it was the most relaxing vacation her here had. Thanks for making our "family" vacation perfect.

Had a great time and the staff was super friendly and helpful. One complaint comes from the fact that food was mislabeled and I ended up having an allergic reaction because the chicken croquettes and crab cakes had their labels switched while the catering was being set up. They looked exactly alike, and were set right next to each other on the buffet. A simple mistake. This is something that could have been EASILY avoided had the chef/kitchen staff made them different shapes so the catering staff knew the difference at first glance.
Second complaint is more about the other guests. People need lessons in buffet etiquette. Don't use tongs/spoons/serving utensils set in front of a different tray! People have allergies. And yes, dipping a spoon into shrimp and then using that on the fruit tray right next to it WILL kill someone. Use the assigned utensil, even if that means being patient while someone else is using it. But, knowing the world as what it is, I'll just avoid buffets wherever possible..

We stayed in room 212 East Bay Building. It was beachfront, club level. Rooms were large with good-sized balconies. Nice and super-clean with luxurious, decadent bedding and beautiful, modern bathroom. Fridge was stocked daily, and the housekeeping staff we're great. We ordered the dine-in breakfast every day as it was included in our package. Overall, the service was outstanding, and food and drink were five star. The property was completely manicured and spotless.

Our East Tower room was newly renovated and was nice despite a bathroom switch not operable and a lack of an iron or ironing board. Housekeeping was excellent and the room was very clean and well stocked. We ordered room service for breakfast most days and it was hit or miss as to the accuracy of the order. The servers at the restaurants were either excellent and personable or surly and incredibly slow. Except for the Queen's Pearl, which was wonderful, the food was so-so and never served at temperature. Everything was lukewarm irregardless of what was ordered. The view from our room was beautiful and the beaches were clean with plenty of seating. For the most part the staff was very professional.

We were so excited to come to this property and to say we are disappointed is an understatement. I am always cautious about negative reviews but wish I would have booked any other property for the money Sandals charges. We were not told their gym was under renovation so you had to book a time to be taken off site - extremely inconvenient. They were 20 minutes late even when a time slot was booked. The spa was closed, again with no return of money for half the amenities being unavailable. I called and asked six months ahead if the renovation was going to be complete and they assured me it would be... The worst part is they closed the island every day except one for the entire week we were here. If we wanted to sit by a mediocre pool we could have done so for a fraction of the price. The quiet pool wasn't heated while the extremely loud pool was?.
We have been to many resorts so were expecting the price to reflect the quality of the resort and this fell so short. The only saving grace is some of the staff are clearly trying... DO not waste your money - you are better off at a Secrets, Royalton etc .... we could have gone elsewhere twice for the price. Seriously, don't do it.
