Our recent stay at Rixos Gulf Hotel was nothing short of spectacular, offering us a beach experience filled with relaxation and indulgence. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the beachside retreat, complemented by the delightful free flow of cupcakes and refreshing juice. It was a true treat for the senses, perfectly capturing the essence of a seaside getaway. Despite a slight delay in our check-in due to the room not being ready, the staff went out of their way to ensure our comfort by offering a late check-out. From the reception to the concierge and restaurant staff, everyone was incredibly accommodating, making us feel welcomed and valued throughout our stay. However, I would suggest improving communication and coordination within the counter staff, as there appeared to be some confusion regarding the status of our stay among different team members. The culinary experience was exceptional, with a variety of delicious meals served at the restaurant, and we thoroughly enjoyed exploring the other facilities offered by the hotel. Overall, our experience at Rixos exceeded our expectations, and we are already looking forward to returning in the future. It's the perfect destination for anyone seeking a beach paradise with outstanding hospitality.

The hotel was simply great. The staff is helpful, courteous and knowledgeable. The food was excellent quality and there was a good variety at every meal. The pools are well maintained, clean and the water is nice and warm. Extra points for keeping unoccupied children out of the jacuzzi. Everything is immaculately clean and smells really nice. I took one point off for the location because this is basically the edge of the city. For us this was more like a plus than a negative but if you want to use public transport to explore Doha, then this is not the right hotel for you to stay. (Taxi service is so cheap in this city, it's basically the same price as public transport in most European capitals.)

The hotel is beautifully landscaped and we enjoyed the numerous options for places to sit and relax. The rooms are really well decorated and well equipped. All of our interactions with the staff were positive. We travelled during Ramadan so the hotel restaurant options were limited during this time. Despite this, we felt that the buffet offered a lovely selection of food. The hotel location is near to the airport however we were not affected by noise and quite enjoyed being slightly further out from the city centre.

Hakeem in zoh was very friendly and more than helpful, he went over and beyond to look after our young family. It was lovely to hear his stories about his family as well. Everyone always greeted us and had a smile on their face. And said good morning. The resort is perfect, our second visit did not disappoint we have 4 days left and I’m looking forward to more of the hospitality 🦩
