Arrival & Departure - all made very easy and simple. We were picked up from Arrival gate, sent to the Pier then straight to the boat and whisked to our room upon arrival at Patina - the whole way connected to (stable) wifi, so there's no need to get data sim card at all. Departure - similar only that we were on a yacht instead and upon arriving at airport, Patina staff helped with our luggage through main door's security check, escorted us to airline check-in and right to the immigration gate, no hassle. Rooms - beautiful with spacious balcony, it's designed so you are embraced in the spectacular sea view from every angle. On our first morning, we even had a double rainbow welcoming us, perhaps that's why we felt very lucky for the rest of the trip. Housekeeping top notch with Mucho - very attention to detailed and the sweetest housekeeper. Hardware wise, the room is very sturdy with heavy glass doors, no wind seeping in and no wobbling at all even when the crazy wind & rain hits, the hot shower water also came speedily. The outdoors bath tub was very useful when weather is not at its best (or when you just want to take a break from snorkelling), you can just soak in it while watching the (still beautiful) sea and enjoying your drink. House reef - plenty of fish in front of the sunset water villas where we were at, even caught sight of stingray + dolphins on a few mornings! For the braver ones, there's a drop off not too far away where you can see bigger fish hidden slightly deeper down. Food - amazing, we loved Brasa & Arabesque, we were swept away by their (very) high food quality and unique flavours, wish we can bring them home with us. Aiman took very good care of us, while also sharing his own background stories which made us feel a bit closer to local Maldives, very memorable. We also had a fun time at the Maybe Sammy (cocktails) pop up at the Fari Beach Club. XY and Saf took great care of us (again), and made it a very good first-time Shisha experience for my husband - nowhere else better to do so. For those curious, Ritz Carlton is just a 10-min. boat ride away if you wish to explore more restaurants, but we never felt the need to in our 6 days stay :) Activities - we don't have kids but we joined the Movie Night anyway - best decision ever. Back home, we don't get to enjoy movies under the starry night with hustling palm trees while eating popcorns. Sunset fishing was also very enjoyable, my husband had a fun time catching different types of fishes using traditional lines, which you can choose to keep or let go after. There's even some board games in the lobby for borrowing during stormy times. We had fun playing Rummikub indoors while watching lighting from a distance. Looking back, we experienced some crazy weathers from burning hot sun to lightning & thunders to cloudy days to not-so-hot sun (perfect), but we were never one moment bored at Patina Maldives. The amazing people and surprisingly GOOD food had made it THE perfect Maldives vacation for us, will be sure to return soon again.

The vacation at Patina Maldives was fabulous for our family. We were surrounded by both Maldivian beautiful nature, artistic architecture and modern facilities. Yet most of all, we were impressed by Patina friendly and helpful people. From the moment the speed boat approaching the resort, we were all welcomed by a Maldivian song sang by all members of the resort management team. Then we were introduced to our essentialist, Davron, who took good care of us from that minute until we left. Davron catered everything we needed very promptly. Every other Patina member, from the house keeping guy to the spa host, from the restaurants’ staffs to other managers always smiled with us, asked us if we need anything and answered all our questions about Maldives. When knowing we are from Vietnam, chef Pema even made us a surprising Pho bowl, our country popular dish. Activities is also a plus at Patina. Our daughters enjoyed a lot of different kids activities, from physical to art. Meanwhile, we can enjoy snorkeling, fishing, going to the spa. During our stay here, we also joined a cocktail making masterclass from the Maybe Sammy team from Sydney. Those were all fun and memorable. Food at Patina was exceptionally good. I have never seen any resorts with that many different restaurants (~12) and none of the dishes we tried went wrong. We would love to go back to Patina soon in the future

Amazing resort in Maldives. They have it all for a good vacation. Extremely nice and helpful staff. Devron is very a responsible essentialist, Iman and Ebay are so nice to share a lot about local life. But the shining star is actually chef Pema who cooked for us an amazing dinner (fully personalized). The beach and its coral + sea animals are truly amazing. You can snorkel right from your villa to meet Stingrays, dolphins and even sharks. Kidclub is a big plus. This resort is very kid friendly. Kids can bike around safely and enjoy almost full day activities from the kid club. A lady in Hijab (sorry I dont know her name) in the kid club is an amazing friend for kids (this is what they said). The resort is also very generous to its customers. It gives away free sarong, key bracelets, hats etc as souvenirs. Some special cases, you can enjoy a trip on a modern boat yacht. Spa and yoga and gym consultation is just excellent. Diving center will give you free snorkeling equipments. Last but not least, food in Patina is very good. Its their strength. Ah, 3 Patina can improve: - scratchy swimming pool floor which may be a problem for active children - Mosquito control - cant think of anything else:)) So 5 out of 5

Hello everyone, my name is Alim. Staying here with my family- mom, dad and my sister. Absolutely stunning experience at the Patina Maldives! The friendly staff went above and beyond, ensuring our stay was nothing short of magical. The service was impeccable, and the villa was luxurious with breathtaking landscapes. Highly recommend for an unforgettable getaway! Especially friendly staff member Badji 👍

Extraordinary - just as you probably imagine paradise to be Our decision to choose Patina for our silver wedding trip about a year ago could not have been better. Our expectations were far exceeded. The combination of beautiful and spacious villas, enough space to cycle around the amazing island, complete peace and quiet and the beautiful layout and design are a dream. In addition, there is a great selection of restaurants, all of which offer excellent food and a wonderful ambience. Breakfast is also a dream, as is the fantastic view from every single seat. But what really makes the stay exceptional are the people. Every single member of staff at Patina is friendly and helpful in a way that we have almost never experienced before. A great team. You can feel this at every meal, whether you have a question or need help from the island's own clinic or for a special surprise for your wife. Someone is always there. And also the many little surprises and attentions when you return to the villa in the evening. A dream. Our special thanks go to our essentialist Yaamin, who looked after us with such incredible courtesy and helpfulness. He was always on hand, even when we had several requests in a row. And if, for once, something went wrong - as it did for us at one point with our booking - a solution was immediately sought and found. Special thanks go to Marion. In the end, it made our stay even better than it already was. Thank you. Last but not least: a special thank-you from the bottom of our hearts to all the staff at Patina, whether at breakfast, in every single restaurant, in the Marine Club, or the villa service. Everyone was so incredibly great. We could not have made a better decision. We will definitely be back. To paradise in the Maldives.
