I spent 10 days on my own in the Occidental Jandia Royal Level and as someone who usually stays in apartments or smaller hotels, I can definitely recommend this hotel for single travellers (and also for couples). The hotel (the adults-only part, which has completely separate pool areas and 2 separate restaurants, but you can also use everything else) is really quiet, which is exactly what I needed. You might still be able to hear some noise from other rooms, as some people are not able to close doors like normal people, but otherwise it is really quiet. The rooms are of decent size and the beds are big. They are really clean and beautiful, I also liked the bathroom a lot (tub!). Of course everyone has different preferences here, but I personally had nothing to complain. Maybe the light beside the bed, which is a bit bright, but it's not a real problem. Water is filled up twice a day and fresh towels also. The view from the sea-view rooms is amazing and the balconies are also a very nice place to spend some time and just look at the sea. There is also a spa where you can book massages (or just go there to different pools and saunas) and a gym as well (not sure the A/C was working when I walked in, I therefore decided to run outside). The breakfast buffet was excellent, big selection and omelette station as well. You can have dinner in either the same restaurant (buffet) or at another one where you have to make a booking in advance (different theme every night and a menu selection). Of course you can also eat with the others from the "non-adults-only-part" of the hotel. I personally would have preferred a bigger vegetarian selection with less mushrooms at the Atlantico, but I could have said something and didn't, which is therefore not the hotel's fault. The food quality was excellent, as well as in the other restaurant. The beach is a bit of a walk (about 10-12 minutes, depending on your situation), but I didn't mind that at all. There are regular shuttles if you don't feel like or walking or cannot walk. There is also e-scooters (Bird, Dott) everywhere in this area, so you can get around quite easily, also to Morro Jable, where you can find everything you need (100s of shops, and rental car stations). I especially want to mention the staff. Everyone is extremely friendly (in a good way), attentive and helpful. I especially want to give a shout-out to Mehdi as well as to Elena in the Atlantico. However, everyone, maids, all the servers (and cooks!) in all the restaurants and the barkeeper are wonderful people. Probably also the ones I haven't met. Thanks again to all of you for making my stay so wonderful. I work many hours in my job and you helped me to get away from all the stress and made it possible for me to relax. You are an integral part of the extraordinary experience I had and I hope your bosses know this as well. If I ever come back to this area I will for sure stay again in this hotel. I want to stress that the other part of the hotel (the "not-adults-only-part") is definitely nothing I would want to stay at, but not because of the hotel or the staff, but because of the people and many many children. I think it's too big, too many people and too much noise. You can avoid this very well at the Royal Level.

Very welcoming reception from all the staff who are friendly, polite and very helpful. Rooms are of a high standard with great views across the beach and free WiFi. Food is very tasty with a choice of buffet or themed A La Carte restaurant. Spending time relaxing around the private pools and many terraces. Weather in January is constant, and evening temperatures are pleasant. What a great way to spend my birthday around a dedicated team of staff and management who made every effort to make sure our stay is perfect. Thank you. Would highly recommend a visit, and we will definitely be returning.

This obviously was a beautiful hotel in the past. Unfortunately, it is looking unloved. The rooms are good but need a 'paint lift'. They were serviced regularly. Pool area's are really good plenty of sunbeds. Snack bar great little chillout area. The food on offer was good in the restaurant, but often a little cold. There doesn't seem to be many chef's keeping on top of serving so people then queue making it a bit of a stressful situation on occasion. The thing that stood out the most was the reception desk team. After a 2hour transfer you would like to think your going to get a helpful and friendly arrival team. Nope... you won't get that. Then as your checking out don't expect the team to say anything much and appear quite rude. I heard and observed through our week other people say the same. It takes a certain kind of person to work in hospitality and this hotel doesn't have that. Unless your a royal guest.

One of the best hotels on the island. Hotel is separated from main hotel and very quiet. Big hot tube was my favourite. Perfect service. Changing towels and sweets on the pillow late in the evening is great idea. Food was delicious. Great quality of alcohol and cocktails. Rooms are not new and sometimes there are some problems with shower, but everything is perfectly clean. Evening bar and entertainment are also very good. Definitely will return.

2nd time in Fuerteventura, love Jandia, fabulous beach and promenade to walk along each morning. Hotel is excellent, staff and food first class. Facilities superb for a relaxing break. If you want a sit back and relax holiday this is the place only downside is the journey from airport about 1 1/2 hours.
