The resort has a speed boat scheduled at a particular frequency. Thus one may have to wait for sometime at the airport.
Checkin was smooth.
The rooms are very good.
The home reef/coral starts 2 feet from the beach. Thus, nice for snorkeling. However, you do not have a beach where you can walk till your waist due to the coral.
The food was not that great. We took it all inclusive. The breakfast spread was nice. I cannot say the same for lunch and dinner. I would say it was very average or even below average. Do not take all inclusive. They have restaurants where you could order. I think that would be more efficient.
Checkout was not that smooth.
I have a feeling that Maldives still has some learning left on hospitality. In general, not everyone. Not even the immigration says 'welcome to Maldives'.
If you compare the resort staff with a similar resort in Thailand or Malaysia, the people there really do everything to make you comfortable and feel welcomed. I did not see the same in Maldives. It could also be the culture in general or could be that they did not like me.

We came on our honeymoon and we chose this place because of its location. Earlier I found a few things in the resort inconvenient and I felt that could ruin our honeymoon but they were able to change my perception with their helpful attitude. Especially Fifi who is the reception supervisor came to our rescue and she helped us in every way so that we have a positive experience here. Plus, she really ensured that we are comfortable and happy and checked with us so that we do not have any problem.

Do not book this place. Initially in August we had booked at Malahini Kuda Bandos and then cancelled after reading few reviews and it did not have a swimming pool. So we visited Bandos resort which is a sister resort and it was really good service and overall experience compared to Malahini Kuda Bandos. So we for some reason booked this place for our stay during 20th-24th November, which was a big mistake, deluxe room with sea view. The room is good but the Tv has few channels and smart tv does not connect to YouTube or Netflix. I am on vacation and have come here for peace of mind, not to crib about the experience. The watersports activities are all chargeable which it should be, but the life jacket is also chargeable, if in any case we drown the person at the water sports centre mentioned that if they have to help the person drowning they will charge for it. which is first time we heard in Maldives ( we have visited Maldives thrice and stayed in 3 different resorts), it was such a disappointment and we could not snorkel because of this. We carried our own snorkeling gear from home. The food at breakfast and dinner, the food at dinner was good but could be better in terms of starters and desserts. Some days it was really good like pizza, South india rice noodles, Chicken shawarma, Um ali dessert, Chicken piece for main course. For breakfast the options we're almost the same like pain au Chocolat, croissant, danish, donuts, granola everyday. The gym was good with basic equipments and well maintained, we face issue on our last day with ac in the gym but was resolved 30-45mins later after calling the reception twice. The person who cleans room 304 does a good job. We e-mailed our flight timings prior to our arrival and our flight was delayed after we boarded which is clearly visible to all resort counters at the airport. So the speedboat decided to leave us and go ahead, we had to wait for 30mins-45mins by then it was beyond 5pm and started pouring. So we checked in our room full of wet sand on our feet and footwear and clothes partially wet. The weather is not in our control but the least they could do was wait for us. We are going to checkout on 24th November and on 23rd evening we recieve a letter saying our checkout is at 12pm and the speedboat pick up is at 3pm. We have booked a half board package which they can clearly see and they also know room checkout is at 12pm. We did not even request them to extend our checkout time. We only said to arrange speedboat in their timeslot which is 9:30am,12:30,3 and 5:30pm. We asked them to arrange at 12;30 pm and they said it is full, which now caused us stress and panick to change our plans which was an inconvenience that could be avoided if they could plan better and let guests have a great time. Overall I would say to avoid booking at this resort if you want to have a good time in Maldives.

Nice resort conveniently located close to male have all inclusive package where transportation to resort is included.
Have flexible staff they accommodated my last moment request .my kids 4 all around12-15 were accommodated had booked two room .1 ocean view villa other garden room.
Avoid garden room unless u are on tight budget .pool villa is huge has spool jacuzzi and great. View of the ocean
Negative as with all resort they practice 2 pm check in and 12 check out despite providing transport from airport at 3.30 pm

Great stay, we loved Maldives because of this resort. However, I have a kind ask for the manager of resort, because I think my feedback won’t get through staff that is dealing with clients directly.
Topic: highly aggressive fish close to the beach where children and people swim 🛑✋
I am a amateur snorkel, and I always enjoyed the experience. But you have to invest more time and effort in teaching stuff how to inform snorkels/guests on where is aggressive titan tigerfish is located at your resort, how it looks, and what to do when it attacks you.
I have experienced firsthand quite aggressive attack from that fish—she bited me and my fins more then 10 times. I was passing by and did not attack the fish. After explaining it to stuff how dangerous and scary the experience was, I didn’t get any constructive outcome—no one said they are sorry for my experience, nor that they will escalate this issue to the Managment. It attacked me close to Bluu bar, where many people swim.
I hope the situation would change, because fish is located relatively close to beach where children and adults swim. Thank you.
