We spent 5 nights at Hilton Maldives Amingiri, comprising 3 nights at the water villa and 2 nights at the beach villa. Overall the stay was amazing, from the rooms, interior furnishings, and facilities, to the top-notch service. The South-facing water villa had totally unobstructed view of the southern sky and sea. To those who value privacy and want a totally unplugged vacation with no sight of civilization, this is the perfect pick. We could easily access the sea for snorkeling, and there was no tracking sand into the room, so that was a huge plus, compared to the beach villa. On the other hand, the beach villa has a slightly larger pool, and I guess it's also safer for families with children. The service at the resort was superb. Our butler Tobby was attentive, responsive, and always ready to help us answer questions, arrange for meals and excursions, and address all our concerns. We also engaged in the group snorkeling excursion twice, where we were taken by boat to a nearby reef full of colorful tropical fishes and other sealife. Our guide Hussam was fantastic! We were total novice and I had some fears with swimming in open waters, but felt very reassured with such an experienced guide. He helped us take a lot of great footage for the snorkeling expedition as well! Actually, we received very good, friendly and welcoming service from every other staff at the resort that we interacted with. The food at the resort is overall pretty good, especially that at the Origin restaurant. The breakfast buffet at Habitat was well done as well: while the spread wasn't as large as some other resorts I've been to, the quality of the food and fresh produce was hard to beat. Overall, we had a great time at Hilton Maldives Amingiri, and I hope we'll have an opportunity to come back again.

The hotel is a 20-minute speedboat ride from Male. The boats are new, fast and comfortable. Due to the short distance from the airport, Male and other technical islands are visible in the afternoon and evening, as well as cargo ships passing by, but it does not bother. But it also does not give a feeling of solitude on the island from civilization in the ocean. For comparison, other nearby islands have much worse views (for example, BAROS). / Lived in the Overwater Villa with Pool. The villa has an area of 181 meters. Everything is gorgeous! Excellent design and thoughtfulness in every detail. Everything is brand new. The hotel itself was opened in 2022. A bathtub with an ocean view. Designer plumbing. Ideal pillows with an additional choice for lovers of harder and softer options. The villa is rated 10 out of 10. The most ideal and luxurious villa in the Maldives for all our trips in all hotels (more than 10 times in 20 years). / Breakfast is served in the main Habitat restaurant. Fast service and a decent variety of choices. Excellent location of the tables in the shade above the water. The problem with orange juice is that it tastes like a highly watered-down liquid. Let's not sin against oranges, as in other hotels the juice is perfect and freshly squeezed. / Dinners and lunches. We were in May, and since it is supposedly out of season and the occupancy of the hotel is low, the main restaurant is open in the evening (often according to the a la carte system), either Italian or Grill restaurants. That is, the choice is not too big. But the chef in Italian is great and all the dishes are top notch. The grill restaurant is served by the shore on the beach and is also delicious! / The island has several almost secluded beaches in the area of the beach villas, with unreal turquoise water and soft sand. But since the island is artificial, the water is not too clear. / The hotel needs to work on the internal atmosphere of the hotel, since from our point of view, its charm, warmth and evening events have not been created. It seems that the music is live in restaurants and movies on the beach, but for all evenings there were no special programs or themed evenings. Techno trance music in a pool restaurant is more stressful than it sets you up for relaxation. / The SPA is ideally located, with beautiful sunset views in the water villas. It is worth noting the masters from India, for those who like deep strong massage. / Of the obvious disadvantages of the island and the hotel, it is worth noting the artificiality of the island and the absence of its own reef. Vegetation is still low and roads are heavily blurred in the rain. There seems to be a diving center, but the dive offers near the island, where there is nothing to see. And boat trips to other dive sites are only for certified divers. This is the first time I have met such indifference and unwillingness to work in a diving center. We always dived in other hotels and near the island if there is a reef and went by boat to interesting places and even with children. But apparently it depends on the staff, who are absolutely not interested in Hilton. And this is despite the newest diving center. / The whole point of resort hotels is in the little things, as you know. We took a beach bag with us out of habit, as it was convenient and already at the check-out we found out that we had to pay for it. It seems like a trifle, but the sediment remained. / In general, the island is good, there are many more advantages than disadvantages. Hilton keeps its brand. For those who want a quick transfer from Male by boat and without a seaplane, it is ideal. For those who want privacy from the world, you definitely need to fly to distant islands. The hotel is also ideal for children, where there are all conditions and often free accommodation and meals for children.

We had an unforgettable stay with our 2-year-old at Hilton Amingiri. This resort is truly a haven for families with children, with the largest kids' club and a staff that goes above and beyond to ensure the little ones are well taken care of. From the moment we arrived at the airport, we were taken to the hotel via speedboat, a journey that took just 20 minutes. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a refreshing welcome drink and a plush toy from the kids' club, which immediately put a smile on our son's face. During our stay, we had the pleasure of experiencing both the overwater villa and the beach villa, each offering its own unique charm. I highly recommend trying both for a diverse and memorable experience. The dining options at Hilton Amingiri exceeded our expectations. We began our days with breakfast at Habitat, featuring a variety of international options. For lunch and dinner, the resort offers a selection of restaurants, all of which catered to families with enticing kids' meals. Our standout dining experience was at the beach shack, where we savored a memorable dinner barefoot by the beach under the twinkling stars. A huge shoutout to Ali for his exceptional service and recommendations, which added an extra layer of enjoyment to our evening. Our visit to the Amingiri Spa was nothing short of incredible. From the private room overlooking the water to the personalized tea selection and choice of scented oils, every detail was carefully thought out to ensure a truly relaxing experience. The kids' club was a hit with our son, offering a wide range of activities. A heartfelt thank you to Yanee for her wonderful care and enthusiasm. We also had the pleasure of a photo session with Mohammed, which resulted in stunning captures of our family's time at the resort. Lastly, a big thank you to our GEM, Asim, for his exceptional service and assistance throughout our stay. He truly made our trip seamless and enjoyable. Hilton Amingiri provided us with unforgettable memories. Thank you for an incredible experience it was indeed a patch of heaven!

A very wonderful experience. We received a warm welcome from the hotel staff, led by Mr. Anees. He monitored our stay and the level of service provision directly on a daily basis. Our butler introduced us to all the hotel’s facilities and services, he was helpful and responsive. I would like to thank the staff at the kids club for their amazing activities and their kind and caring treatment with the kids. This hotel will be my first choice for my next trip to the Maldives due to the distinguished treatment I received from the hotel staff and the wonderful level of services, cleanliness and food. Stayed 3 nights in Amingiri and loved every minute. It competes with Waldorf in every aspect but cheaper in terms of Hilton points and boat transfer costs. Here’s 5 good deal tips. 1. Room rate includes photography session, and the package was worth it. We got around 140 pictures. Waldorf charges you 10x the price for similar session and pictures. 2. Ask for Mangosteens during breakfast. Mangosteens are south Asian fruits, sweet and tart. There’s a chef who will cut up the fruit for you. The chef also cuts up fresh mangos. 3. Go during their dry season, Maldives can be quite rainy during wet season. Dry season is between November and April. 4. Hilton Gold/Diamond members get free breakfast and daily happy hour between 3-4 pm. 5. They have hot water heaters in the room. We brought fancy ramen to snack between meals since food prices in Maldives are going to give you sticker shock.
