I would prefer a less busy, or smaller number of rooms, hotel. A hotel where you can interact with the staff and they can become a part of the experience. I don’t want to rush to reserve a sunbed then to sit so close to the next person. I like beachfront but I also want an amazing pool area where staff want to come to you and serve you a drink or Thai food. This area is in a high tourist zone. Rooms were big and adequate. This is an all inclusive resort so the buffets were fine but not exciting.

Absoutely loved our 7 night all inclusive stay at Beyond Kata. The location is perfect on the beach front and pool area is great. The staff are amazing and work incredibly hard. They had to put up with rude and disrespectful guests which we observed regularly during our stay that makes their job even harder and they should be commended on their professionalism in dealing with them. Lastly the 3 piece nightly band in the forecourt were outstanding! The two sisters and their father are fantastic entertainers and are incredibly talented. They sang songs in multiple languages with a smile and had the guests dancing! We will be back!

Recently renovated. Excellent position right on the beach. Staff are really helpful and pleasant. Meals are also very good and cater to different cuisines. I'd come back again without hesitation.

One of the best hotels I’ve ever been to (and I travel frequently), the price-performance ratio is absolutely adequate and it is worth staying here even for a few days. Rooms are specious and nicely furnished, you can find everything that’s needed for a good stay there. Breakfast is rich, freshly cooked and tasty, even coffee from the coffee machine was great. Pool is exceptional, clean, beautiful and refreshing. Love it!

Great location, ocean facing rooms are very good, food was always top notch. Sunsets are amazing!! Food and beverage staff lack enthusiasm...we often had to seek out staff to actually get any service. (If you're on an all inclusive package, don't expect the drinks to be coming regularly.) Beer needs to be colder!!....store it on ice!!
