From the arrival to the departure of this villa style hotel did demonstrate excellence in customer service with friendly and helpful staff. The food is exceptionally executed, contemporary and attractively presented. The daily impeccable buffet breakfast has also a vast range of choices, including special dietary and culture requirements. The Hotel is well maintained, beautifully landscaped and looked after. The apartment we had was modern with view over the beach. The only minus is the villas are situated on a hill. Thus transport is needed and is also provided by the hotel on demand. However, this is a small disadvantage in comparison what this great establishment has to offer. Highly recommended.

A true 5 star hotel with 5 star hospitality. Service is really quick. Wide variety of options for breakfast including INDIAN food. Rooms are big and cozy, well maintained hotel. Shuttle service 24x7 for pickup and drop. Gym, swimming pool, massage centre, kids and toddler playhouse, shopping and merchandise all available. All the rooms have sea view and morning views are just amazing. Water sports activities are available in the hotel only. Hotel is huge and have lot of stairs to climb, hence you may feel a little tired, though lift is available for guests convenience. The reception staff is very welcoming and helpful. Luggage management is wonderful. Overall a true luxury experience. Must stay hotel in Phuket.

The hotel is nice but it would benefit from refurbishment and modernization especially of the common areas. Room was nice but AC was quite noisy.
Quality of food in the big breakfast room was average. There was a big choice, however. La Gritta restaurant is under average both pasta and pizza.
Great views of the bay and lots of green everywhere. Get ready for lots of walking up and down because the hotel is on a hill. You can use the hotel taxi for getting around.
There are no beds and service directly at the beach. The water was not clear. I saw jellyfish.
The pool was pretty warm and not refreshing.

The lunch and dinner is excellent except very slow service.
The hotel is located on the hills and need to wait for shuttle service that provided by hotel.
Stuffs are very friendly.
Internet service is enough fast but sometimes need to relocate to find proper spot for full antenna. Weak around La Gitta restaurant.
Hotel is environmentally friendly, water is serve in glass instead of plastic bottles.
Room service is perfect and friendly stuffs.
Shore is shallow not recommend to swim in sea

We had an excellent stay at the Amari hotel. We were originally booked in to superior rooms, but these were tired and dated and barely 4* standard, so i asked at reception about upgrading and we then paid around £600 extra for a 2 bedroom coral lounge suite for a week which was lovely. This and the fact that drinks are more than double everywhere else in the area are the sole reason for not giving 5 stars. I've seen lots of negative reviews about the steps/hills in resort, these were great for us as we're fitness freaks but if you have any mobility issues i wouldn't recommend staying here as you'll be relying on transport to get anywhere.
