The food at the buffet was good everywhere else was a little questionable. There's no microwave in the room. And the blow dryer needs an adaptive plug, so don't forget one. The entertainment was fun. The pools and bars were great. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would recommend this resort for sure. Had a blast!

Absolutely incredible resort and experience. The staff were amazing. Very consistent in regards to food, and cleanliness. The views were incredible, and the grounds were well taken care of. 24 hour room service which is a major plus, and everyone was wonderful. The only thing I’d say is they push hard to try and get you to purchase time shares/different packages for their other moon palace locations. But overall, the resort was incredible.

We had an awesome stay! Fernando at the pool bar and chef Andrew at hibachi were two of our favorites, but all the staff was great. The location is perfect and easily accessible. Everything is well maintained. Would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful time at Moon Palace. My wife being a vegetarian options weren’t readily available. Other than the food it was a wonderful experience. It is a 2 hour drive from Montego Bay Airport which we weren’t prepared for.

My Husband and I had an amazing time. The details an package deal we received were on point. Though the airfare and it's connections could have been a deterrence they weren't. it was all apart of International travel. More option for getting there and back would have probably been the only way to make this part of the package better. The resort staff were very accommodating and customer friendly. The eatery options were plenty tho not always the cleanness in the buffet area.  The variety of selections was a bonus. If you were vegan and or vegetarian they did there best to meet the need.  The tour and entertainment packages tho a bit pricey were worth the expense once you bought into a particular package, at least the ones we paid for. I think the only thing I would suggest change on would be the tipping process. There is no way to tip all those who set out to be accommodating. There has to be a better way to say thank you without walking around with hundreds of dollar bills.  But it's not a complaint it's offered as something that could be looked in to.

We had such a great trip. We went as a family with our adult children and we still had such a great time even though we had no young children of our own. There was stuff to do when we wanted to or we could just relax too. The entertainment staff may be all of our favorite part of the vacation. They knew us by name and helped make the trip as great as it was!

My family had a great time. Venecia was amazing. She always make sure the room was in great condition and checked on us constantly. Jerome at Venetian was great. He was attentive and was great. Each of the times we went there for dinner. The resort was clean and a number of activities for the kids to do. The resort was outdated in some places, but energy was great. The only concern we had was the staff at Neptune restaurant. They were not attentive and did not seem to want to be there.

Have been to Sandals resorts before but this was my first experience at a Beaches. This was a family vacation (kids 9, 11, 13) and this was a wonderful resort- very kid friendly, lots of activities and great food. The staff are very accommodating and the events and shows are a lot of fun. Only a handful of restaurants but each was very good. I have noted that some other reviews indicate that the resort could use some renovation and upkeep and while this is true, it is mostly cosmetic and nothing that interferes with the the enjoyment of the resort. Water activities (snorkeling, kayaks, catamarans, boat rides) were all included and made for a really nice experience for the kids. This a 2+ hour drive from the Montego Bay airport which is not ideal, but I understand that the Ian Fleming airport is opening to international flights so future rides would be only 10 minutes to the resort. The only issue I had was with the reservation policy for the restaurants. Reservations were available but only for people I. The concierge rooms. This made it a bit difficult to organize dinner time and not have to wait for tables. It was only an issue once or twice but I am not sure why anyone couldn’t reserve a dinner time. Overall we all had a wonderful time and enjoyed the resort tremendously.

We had a good time overall. The resort can definitely use some renovation. The elevator was out of service the entire 7 days I was there, so to get to the beach, I had to carry my two toddlers down the stairs along with all my beach items. The staff is somewhat friendly. The food was okay, I have had better. The worst restaurant was the Venetian. All of the staff was rude, our food took over an hour. What a terrible experience. I have traveled to several places, and Jamaica is probably the only place I have ever been mistreated as a tourist. Everyone there has an attitude problem. There were probably two employees who were kind, and they were Ripton and Zeddekian. The employees at the bar were freely asking for a tip, and when we gave them a tip, they said it was not enough and asked for more. I will not be returning to Jamaica.

Be prepared for 2 hours from airport. It was a wonderful stay, but if you want luxury try somewhere else. They were making improvements and updating while we were there but it is an older resort. Landscaping was beautiful. This is a kid friendly resort and they are everywhere, which is fine ad long as you know it. For couples, I would go elsewhere. They did a great job with my daughter’s beach vow renewal and reception! My grandsons loved the kids camp & water park. Their extra $ character tuck in got messed up, but they made up for it the next night by sending every character! The nightly entertainment was very good. With the water sports being included we felt we could do them all. I had an individual catamaran lesson that lasted until the guide & I felt comfortable I would be safe. Snorkeling, banana, & glass bottom boats are a must. Booking excursions, with pick up, at the resort was nice for having questions answered. Local vendors were on site, but not pushy. As much as I enjoyed our stay, if I go back to Jamaica, I will find something closer to the airport.

I cannot say enough about Jamaica Inn. This hotel was my slice of heaven during a really difficult time. From the picturesque views, to the attentive staff and well appointed rooms Jamaica Inn is sure to make your vacation a home away from home. The hotel is far from the airport and traffic gets hectic, so I definitely recommend getting to the island early if you don’t want to turn your journey to the hotel into a nightmare. But besides that, Jamaica Inn was all I expected and more. I definitely plan on coming back soon!

Where do I begin with Jamaica Inn, the staff the amazing views the tranquility, this isn't your fast paced environment, there is no hustle and shuffle, no long lines for a buffet minimal technology, all you get is high speed WiFi, you are brought back to a simpler time, naturally friendly and helpful people who just want you to relax and enjoy your stay in the most comfortable manner. Let's begin with the food it was exceptional as a Jamaican I can appreciate the way the made my favourite dishes and introduced me to a few others, certain things change every day so there isn't too much repetition and you will be very satisfied with the taste and quality of everything, I know myself and my family were. The rooms were rustic and void of anything to distract you from rest, ventilation was good as wooden shutter windows that could be closed for privacy surrounded you, the balcony was also a great place to just relax and have some coffee or tea that was complementary or have them bring room service meals and drinks so you can truly escape in the privacy of your very comfortable rooms, and did I mention they provide umbrellas robes slippers all towels toiletries even cotton swabs to dry/clean your ears. I have to mention the staff whom I bothered all the time but they were always more than happy to help and accommodate my every wish, very special mention of Garfield the waiter and Richard Hutchinson they went out of their ways to make sure all the meals of my family and myself were perfect, Hutchinson even assisted us on the grounds to pick a few Jamaican apples, and give small insightful information on the plants and hydrophonic gardening system by the gift shop as we missed the tour for it, also special mention to Patrice who remembered our drinks and wine preferences, Makayla Shana lee and chevanese the breakfast club for us we miss you fuys already !! The beach was great and lifeguards always attentive and on the lookout, I can't swim so it made me feel a lot safer knowing I shouldnt have to worry. I definitely can't forget sweet Shadow the lovely doggo that was always a bundle of joy walking with guests and playing her face would light up every time you come to interact with her. I'm not saying this is the perfect hotel for a vacation it may not suite everyone's taste, but I will say I felt like family and I felt calm and at peace while being well fed the entire time Ps, I don't know if this has happened before some fishes in the beach, while don't hurt you, they tend to be nipple biters and it may startle you if you come across them they were medium sized and yellowish in colour and resemble a tang or angelfish in shape As for the view I'll let the pictures do the talking

All Oceanfront with hearing waves at night. Service was excellent but you probably need to carry around some bills in your pocket. Coffee was good, alcohol was pushed, food was acceptable but not exceptional. Having a "butler" does not solve all your problems, for example the chairs at the beach are first come first serve so there is all that nonsense about reserving chairs with personal items. Beatrice small and self-contained so none of those long leisurely strolls along the beach. All that being said would definitely go back for the relaxing contemplative service oriented vacation.

Sandals Royal Plantation a gem of a resort. This boutique style hotel offers all beachfront suites with personalized butler service. There is even beach butler service! If you are looking for a small quiet resort look no further, this 1st class luxury resort will not disappoint. Impeccable service, entertainment, cleanliness and food quality.

Royal Plantations was a great resort to go and just relax. The grounds are small but still a great place. The rooms and grounds do need some TLC and from what I could see during my stay, it looks like they are doing their part to fix and upgrade the resort.

We had a lovely time at the Royal Plantation hotel, staying there for 10 days over Christmas. The staff was lovely, our butlers (Anthony and Robert) were great and overall everyone was welcoming. The food is good, as long as you stick to local cuisine. The drinks selection is also good as well as the activities. Marine life for snorkeling is a bit scarce as one probably needs to go to the Devil's Reef for diving so manage your expectations. Lastly, the hotel is a bit dated but for us it didn't matter much as we rarely spent time in our room and just stayed on the beach all day.
