I stayed here for 5 days for work. You can’t help but also have a vacation while there. The service is next to no other place I have visited. The staff are consistently helpful and pleasant as if they love their jobs. The rooms are amazing (loves the rain shower and the soaking tub). Our balcony faced the ocean and had amazing views of the sunset AND of the unexpected fireworks Thursday night. We tried 3-4 of the restaurants - the Italian and Jamaican ones were our favorite. The conference rooms were quite comfortable too. I don’t have ANY complaints and can’t wait to visit again with my husband.

Our first trip here but not our first all inclusive. The food was not good in most of the restaurants . The best food was at the outside grill. Steak was more like a charred piece of coal. While we were there I know of three other couples besides us that walked out of the French restaurant because the food and service were so bad. Time share people were very pushy. Servers at French, Buffet, Italian and Beach were very unfriendly. Drink refills were almost impossible to get. Beach service was non existent. They were too busy talking to each other than to serve the guests. Very disappointed in the whole experience except for our massage that was amazing and the new server Carl. Rooms were dated and the beds and pillows should have been replaced years ago. The resort is beautiful so hopefully they can turn it around. As it is now it is definitely not a 5 star resort.

Customer service was poor in regards to room privacy. Even if you hang the Privacy tag, the staff will still enter your rooms. When we questioned the staff about entering our room, she blatantly lied and stated that the privacy tag was not there which is a LIE. We found the tag on the inside of the door when we returned, all our items moved to another location in room, and toiletries touched and moved around. Please do not leave your belongings out because the staff can access your room without notice. The issue was addressed with front desk who only claim to "investigate the matter". Our privacy was violated TWICE that day, unbelievable. No one asked how can the issue be solved. Only sorry excuses for the staff violating our privacy and no follow up on matter. Lost prevention is useless and will not do anything about it. I will NEVER stay at this overrated hotel again.

This hotel is the best I've ever been to in Jamaica- they literally thought of every way to cater to your every whimp & fancy and even what you're not thinking of- true epitome of luxury. You can see that the curators of this hotel really thought of every possible way to make your stay as carefree as possible. The rooms are top tier and all have a sea view in some way; the food is quite delicious, the views from the hotel of the sea and planes flying in are something to admire but the cherry on top of this hotel is the staff. As a local, we know how challenging it can be to be treated respectfully and equally at some hotels...but at THE Secrets Wild Orchid- a non issue. Not some, but all of the staff were so courteous, quick to respond and super duper attentive from the moment we entered to when we left. It really felt like a second home. Its a 10/5 stars for me..we will definitely be back!

Place is lovely. Room, food & beds are great. I had one of the best massages in the world there. But the toilet had no door, which made room sharing challenging. We had cockroach's in our room, which the cleaner ignored for 2 days! They did not have my sea view room and refused to upgrade me, wanted me to sign a waiver to downgrade, which i refused. You get a hard sell to spend 40k on their loyalty program, when you say no they get grumpy with you. Overall nice place, could be amazing.
