Foteini is a wonderful manager, welcoming, full of passion and friendly. She made the hotel! Food was amazing, staff really friendly and the house keepers are always on top of cleaning! I’ve never been to a cleaner hotel! The bar staff are patient and so are all the staff. Thank you for a great holiday! 🎉🇬🇷☀️❤️

Hotel location is great because you have access to a lot of places like restaurants bars beach and supermarkets. The housekeeping ladies were amazing! Very kind and polite and always kept the rooms tidy even when we didn't ask. Fotini is a star! Super friendly and kind!!

It's our 2nd time visiting Crete, in Chersonissos. And once again, we choose the same Hotel; Hotel Heronissos. It is no doubt, worth 5 stars and more. We can say our stay was again, perfect. Also my parents in law went here for the fourth time. The rooms are very clean, and the rooms itself are very modern. I absolutely love the modern look with wood panels. Yes, I am aware there several buildings. The owner is investing a lot in redecorating and rebuilding the older rooms. This takes time. But overall the cleaning service is really great. Daily cleaning and its personell is very kind. Also the food is really, really good! The cooking team has a top Chef. The variety in dishes are lots! Fish, meat, salads, deserts, breakfast. Also drinks, a lot to choose from! The environment is great. Even if you wouldn't rent a car, you could still enjoy the hotel and its activities. The hotel organizes many events and acts. It's lovely. If you prefer to go out? Less than a minute walk outside the hotel to the great and long boulevard. Where you can enjoy the sea and some beaches. But also, the restaurants, bars, clothing stores and gift shops. There's many of them! In evenings you can also enjoy the lights. It's a total different scene! I recommend exploring! Lots of fun things to do. We will be visiting Crete again, next year. And ofcourse we will go to this hotel again! Many thanks to the entire Hotel-crew who made our stay great!

Arrived at Heronissos Hotel today and what a disappointing experience so far. Arrived at the hotel after a long day of travelling and the receptionist took over 30 minutes to check us in. I didn't understand how it took so long. After this we were told there was a tax to pay of €7 per day and it had to be paid in cash. We were surprised we couldn't pay by card but thankfully we had some cash. Next we were giving our room keys and directed to a building that was seperate from the main hotel building and compound. Once we entered the building, a horrible smell hit us like the smell of a dead rat. Very worried, we got in the tiny lift and went up to the third floor and upon reaching our room our disappointment hit an all time high. There were stains on the floor, it had a smell and we absolutely knew we could not spend the night. I was truly shocked that this was supposed to be my 4* hotel. We went back to reception and complained and they were able to change our room to a temporary one in the main building. This room is better but only because guests are expected to pay an additional fee. The whole experience has nearly ruined our first day here but we are determined to try and enjoy ourselves after the money we've spent on the trip. We are at the pool which is lovely and the bar staff are nice. We will see what tomorrow holds and post an update then.

We booked through Love Holidays, the room was 2 star instead of a 4 star, aircon didn't work, tv didn't work, no tea making facilities, no bar snacks as advertised there was cockroachs, live wires, lifts constantly breaking down the all inclusive was at meal times only, the drinks where cheap nasty brands. we have written to Love Holidays and they never replied, our next step is to ask for a credit card charge back
